This year I am excited to serve as one of the FLP Coordinators! In my role, I organize and run weekly tutoring sessions for elementary and middle school students in our local community. I oversee the book fair in the spring quarter to connected student with books and foster a love of reaing. The Houseless and Hunger position focuses on providing for underserved communities in our local environment. I plan to host or aid with recurring hunger alleviating events such as food drives and meal distribution. I also plan to expand the range of this role by providing housing resources and information to students as they navigate the often arduous housing process.
