Additional Requirements for Working with Minors
(Family Literacy Program (FLP), Youth Outreach, and Volunteer Week Bookfair)
Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act (CANRA) Training
(Topics include: Overview of CANRA, responsibilities of a mandated reporter, how to report, and resources at each location)
- If UCSB Student Employee – Access the UCSB Learning Center – Complete CANRA Mandated Reporter Training.
- If not a UCSB Student employee, access a free training at Mandated Reporter.com. First Create a Login and Complete General Training course.

Docusign CANRA Acknowledgment form (Coming Soon)
After Documents complete allow a few days for processing, up to two weeks for background screenings.
Followup with the designated CAB coordinator to sign up for specific events.
This registration does not sign you up for limited volunteer opportunities.
